Through sewing workshops, skill-sharing, collaborations, and events, we aim to teach participants practical, lifelong skills, foster an inclusive and supportive community, and promote sustainable practices. We are committed to reducing textile waste and conserving resources by repurposing used garments and giving new life to fabrics or deadstock destined for landfills.

2 time slots ~ 10.30 am - 12 pm & 6 PM - 7.30pm
This class will teach how to set up and thread the sewing machine, how to straight stitch, and learn enough skills to perform basic alterations and repairs. Bring your machine or use ours. No previous experience required.

In this class, you will learn how to trace an item of clothing, make a pattern, and replicate the design. Bring a favorite piece of clothing to reproduce or pick one from our racks. Suitable for sewers with some experience and a creative flair.

Sew Fun After School Program!!
Vintage Ruse is offering an after-school sewing-based arts and crafts program for 8 years old & up. The program is Tuesday-Friday, from 2.30 pm-6 pm. Under the guidance of our expert instructors, children will master sewing techniques, create their own personalized projects, and build confidence in their artistic abilities. Our intimate, boutique setting ensures personalized attention and a nurturing environment.

Membership: $100/month
Members: $12/hr
Non-members: $20/hr - drop-in basis
Projects from our Sew Fun Camp: Custom bucket hats and customized jean jackets, all sewn by our campers!
